Molly O’Neill

is a visual artist whose practice explores the intersection of humanity and the natural world. Her journey began with a degree in Illustration Animation from Kingston School of Art and culminated in a Master’s in Fine Art from the University of Brighton. Central to her work is the “Deep Ecology” philosophy introduced by Arne Naess, which inspires her to use art as a call to environmental empathy and awareness.

The moving image is one medium Molly uses, chosen for its ability to transcend linear storytelling and evoke the emotional rhythms of nature. Her works invite audiences to reflect on their connection to the environment through immersive visual and sensory experiences.

Over the past two years, Molly’s collaboration with ‘The Writer’s Mark’ has expanded her artistic language, weaving together poetry, performance, and visual art. Through this fusion, she creates dynamic, living works that amplify the themes of environmental stewardship and interconnection.

Molly’s art serves as both a mirror to humanity’s relationship with the earth and a catalyst for change, engaging viewers in a dialogue about their role in safeguarding our shared planet and communities.
